Do you know a piece of land where every inches of it is enriched with jewels? And you will be stranded to know that this piece of land is the most impoverished land in the entire world. I am referring to Africa, the continent of light as I disagree to call it as the ‘darkest continent’. I want to call it ‘the land of jewels’ in terms of great civilizations, inspiring human beings and valuable mineral resources. Africa is not only the ultimate destination of all human races but also it dictates the world how the world should be. It hosts the entire humanity with its blood and toil. Africa has been raped by the butchers from every occupying nation like Arabs, Europeans and Americans.

Colonized Africa has been labeled as ‘dark’ where organized religion is derived before the Arab or other religions, colonial masters have labeled Africa as illiterate where Egyptian writers invented the first writing scripts. When Africa was composing the best musical choir, the colonial nations were wondering how to fix their toiletries issues. Colonial masters like Europe, Arabs and America presented Africa as a continent of the brutal tribes.

Africa has been enslaved for their innocence and welcoming mindset. But colonial masters couldn’t keep the Africans under their colonial rule for so long. They claimed their rightful ownership of their countries. By seventies, almost all African countries got independence. But they did fail to take back control of their natural resources. More often African countries are subjected to the indirect control of their past colonial masters in the name of NGO funds, World Bank mechanism, installment of puppet governments, and many other forms.

How does it happen? Why do still colonial masters get access to African resource? How can they do whatever they like to do in African soil from thousand miles’ distance? It is possible as because African leaders are playing the part of their colonial masters’ role perfectly. African leaders are acting as the puppets of their colonial demi-gods. One will find leaders who are ruling their countries for more than decades without any democratic elections. If there is election, these are rigged and adulterated.

In one hand, old African leaders are sticking into power, on the other hand the past colonial gods are looting African minerals. South Sudan’s Salva Kirr has been seen peeing in a public function but not ready to leave the throne. Robert Mugabe was toddling at the presence of international media but wasn’t ready to leave powerful seat of the President of Zimbabwe. Poverty is sucking Eswatini but the King is untouchable. These Satans are sucking Africa, destroying Africa, leaving African unlivable for the next generations.

Africa’s future should be left in the hands of real, patriotic, young and visionary African leaders. The old Afican satans are burden for Africa. Africa should get rid of these old Satans.
